The washing instructions provided with the garment is to wash them at low temperature with the pads inside the panels. They have been tested on a range of machines and are perfectly safe to do so. Please note that when we ship the product, they are powder coated but with wear and tear, weekly washing, as well as sweat and rain, the coated barrier on the pads can break down over time. It doesn't affect their performance, it just makes them sticky to handle. The stickiness is easily managed by re-powder coating the pads - either with plain flour or talc powder.

Yes, you can purchase additional gel pads to be used with our Propadz vest. While our pads are durable (many pro players are still using their original pads one year on), natural wear and tear may occur. You can order a new set of gel pads by reaching out to us or visit our shop page. Additional pads are only sold in SETS of 7 and size of pads will vary depending on your vest size.
